Gaetan Proulx Obituary

Proulx, Gaetan Joseph (June 26, 1942- April 22, 2021) - Passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday April 22, 2021 at the age of 78 years.

He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Cecile Proulx (nee Laflamme). Dear father of Nathalie Townson (Kenneth) and Johanne Strood. Pepere Gaetan will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Jessica Degagne (Daniel), Justin Strood and great grand-daughters Avianna, Hayden and Vanessa.

He was predeceased by his father Armand Proulx, mother Bernadette Poudrier, step-mother Brigitte Julien; his siblings Yvette Proulx, Gaston Proulx and Gerard Proulx. He is also survived by Jeannette Julien (Gauthier - deceased), Rejean Proulx (Nicole), Odette Levesque (Roland), Marie José Proulx, Magella Proulx (Joanne) and Annie Proulx.

Gaetan served in the Canadian Airforce for over 31 years, serving deployment in Egypt for 6 months.

Due to COVID there will be no visitation or service.

The family would like to thank ParaMed Home Care for their care and compassion given to Gaetan.

Donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre- Cancer Care will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
