Georges Belanger

Belanger, Georges- Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday March 18, 2023 at the young age of 63.

He was predeceased by his spouse Rachelle (nee Trahan). Loving father of Jordan (Diane). Survived by his siblings Yvonne Desilets (Danny-deceased), Diane Belanger-Gardner (Arthur-deceased), Helene Clayton, and predeceased by his parents Hector and Helene and brother Richard. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his beloved furry companion of 10 years, Coco and by his many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Guy Filiatrault and his family for the loving care they provided in the last year of Georges life. He has been a best friend since the age of 6. His devotion to Georges has been exceptional and will never be forgotten. 

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date at his camp that he loved so much.

Special thanks to Dr. Jinnah, Dr. Nelson, the staff of CCU at the North Bay Regional Health Centre and the staff of Community Care Services for their care and compassion given to George.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre -Cancer Care Unit will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
