Gerald Potvin

Potvin, Gerald (1927-2020) – Gerry passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday October 2^nd, 2020 at the age of 92 years.

He is survived by his wife of fifteen years Norma Potvin (nee Deruchie). Loving father of Sharon Bailey (Brian), David (Connie), Michael (Nancy) and Richard (Nancy). Papa will be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren Mike (Jen), Chris (Danielle), Lindsay (Matt), Tyler, Scott, Erica and Emily, his four great grandchildren Kayla (Matt), Matty, Alex and Aimee and by his two great great grandchildren Miguel and Sophia. Dear brother of Lorraine Say (Bill). He will be missed by 5 step-children Mike Daniels (Joyce), Terry Daniels (Sue), Gord Daniels (Kathleen), John Daniels (Lori) and Francine Despres. Cherished step-grandfather to Matthew, Brett (Erin), Ryan (Jenn), Jordan (Megan), Lauren, Cameron, Coleman and Dominique. Also survived by his cousin Mance Asselin (Richard).

He was predeceased by his first wife Jean Emily, his sister Jacqueline Geoffrey, Mance Delahunt and stepdaughter Laurie Daniels.

Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Friday October 9^th, 2020 from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Saturday October 10^th, 2020 at 11 am.

In accordance with current directives from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario in regard to COVID 19 the total number of attendees is limited at the funeral home, church and cemetery and additional precautions are in place.
