Obituary

Gyene, Geraldine (1932 – 2023)

Gerrie passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday September 12, 2023 at the age of 90 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Ed in 2020. Dear mother of Patti Clayton (Dwight). She will be sadly missed by her two grandchildren Shaunice and Teagan Clayton and four great grandchildren Caleb, Lyla, Rory and Vera.

She will be remembered as a Rising Star and community member. She lived a long, full life, surviving cancer; a true warrior. Her love of sewing, crafts, gardening, nature and music will continue to bring joy to those that love and knew her. Predeceased by sister Marge; will be missed by niece, Wendy and nephew, Gary. Also survived by her son Bryan (Jean).

In accordance with her wishes there will be no visitation or service. Donations to the Near North Palliative Care Network in memory of Gerrie will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
