Gezina Tew Obituary

With profound sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gina Tew (1954-2021) on March 15 at Nipissing Serenity Hospice.

She is survived by her partner, David Everson, her children Geoffrey Tew and Karina Tew, as well as her brother, Gus Meindersma, her sisters Bernadette Kowalchuk and Anne Harrison and her dear friend Kathryn Brazeau.

For many years Gina owned and operated the Valleyview motel in Bonfield and in her later years she was a pharmacy technician at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

A kind friend to many, Gina will be remembered for her generosity of spirit and her love of fishing and golfing. She will live on in the hearts of many and she will be missed with great fondness.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Gina’s life will take place at a later date.
