March 12, 1949 – August 2, 2025

It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Ginette Fortin, who passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, at the age of 76 in North Bay, Ontario. 

She will be deeply missed by her children Dan Ethier of Timmins, Ontario, Carole Ethier of Clinton, New York and Cindy Brouse (Bryan) of North Bay.  She will also be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In keeping with Ginette’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the PSWs at Castle Arms and the NBRHC paramedics that got to know Ginette, as well as the wonderful staff in the Emergency Department at NBRHC.
