Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gloria Buffett on May 6th, 2023 in her 92nd year at the Nipissing Manor with family by her side. Gloria is predeceased by her husband Ken, daughter Catherine, and son Gregory. Gloria is survived by her 3 sons, Bruce, Peter(Jane), Douglas (Lynn), daughter-in-law Sharon, 5 grandchildren Johnathan, Anastasia, Ryan, Derek, and Jacob, and 1 great grandson Jude.
Gloria enjoyed a full life beginning a career in the Air Force in communications, raised her family with love, and ending her career at the St. Joseph’s Motherhouse as the Receptionist Switchboard Operator. With her husband Ken they enjoyed 32 years at their cottage on Rabbit Lake near Temagami where she loved to swim and spend time with her family. Gloria loved to sing and was involved in committees, assisting in planning activities for the Residents to enjoy at the Nipissing Manor.
We would like to thank the staff at the Nipissing Manor for their compassionate care and love they showed for Gloria.
Family receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services on Wednesday May 17th from 11 am until 1 pm. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm at Terrace Lawn Cemetery.
