Heather Carol Hawkins

Hawkins, Heather (1934-2020) - Heather passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Saturday March 7, 2020 at the age of 85 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Justin (Dusty), son Stephen and parents William and Claire Gartshore. Dear mother of Cathy Briggs (Doug Briggs). Gram will be sadly missed by her two grandchildren David (Samantha), Ian and she was Great Gram to Peter and Cecilia. Heather also held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews and their families.

Family receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd., on Thursday March 12th from 4 to 8 pm and on Friday March 13th from 9:30 am until 10:30 am with a celebration of her life to follow.

Heather's family would like to thank Dr. Rogers and everyone at Nipissing Manor for their great care. Also like to thank Dr. Venne and the wonderful Nurses and staff of C-3 Palliative Care Unit at NBRHC.

Donations to the North Bay Regional Health Center (cancer treatment) in memory of Heather will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
