Inez Elizabeth (Brown) Ross

INEZ ELIZABETH ROSS (nee Brown). Passed away in her home surrounded by love on Tuesday March 2, 2021.

Born Riverbank, Ontario. Parents Ella May Wilson and Gilman Gerald Brown. Her early years were spent in Bracebridge, Muskoka.

Married Gordon T. Ross MD, Brampton, Ontario, April 8, 1950 (Predeceased 2013). Inez was a dedicated Girl Friday in Gordon’s office.

Inez was predeceased by siblings Irva Caldwell, Barbara Cottom, Ray and Archie Brown.

Inez was an enthusiastic volunteer and life member of the Dr. Herbert A. Bruce Chapter, IODE. Inez was a past member of the North Bay Granite Club and Laurentian Ski Club and the 3-B Boating Group.

Inez’s interests in the arts were foremost where she assisted and/or hosted art events. Most recently hosting ‘resident artist’ Peter John Reid’s workshops.

Left to mourn are many “special” nieces and nephews.

A small family service has taken place. A celebration of Inez’s life will be held at the Bracebridge United Church when family and friends can gather safely.
