Ivan James Lindsay

Lindsay, Ivan James " BUD" (April 16, 1946 - October 4, 2020) - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his sudden passing into the sunset on Sunday October 4th, 2020 at the age of 74.

Ivan was the devoted husband of 51 years to Elaine. Loving father to James, Lee-Ann (Brian) and Andrew Jason (Nicole). Papa to Olivia, Dieven, Desirée, Aidan and Caitlan. He is survived by his siblings Jack (Rosemarie), Martin (Helen), Gary (Janet) Ron and Ken (Sandy), Iva (Greg) and Kathy (Ron). 

Ivan was an eccentric, well read, private man who loved the wild west.  He lived his life by the code of the cowboy.  His work ethic was awe inspiring and he would help anyone in need.  He could not resist a good deal and loved to collect.  Anyone who knew him would describe him as the most honest and dependable man you could ever meet.  Ivan was predeceased by his parents Ivan and Margaret Lindsay (nee Bell). He leaves behind many brothers and sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces and nephews who share memories of Ivan.

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation, cremation has already taken place.

Donations in Ivan’s memory to the Heart & Stroke foundation would be appreciated by his family.
