1950 - 2023

It’s with great sadness that we announce our beloved Jackie’s unexpected but peaceful passing at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on April 12, 2023.

She is survived by her loving husband Roger, her brothers Jacques (Ginette) and Jean (Beverly). Predeceased by her parents Yvette and Omer Goulet and two brothers Remi and Andre.

Jackie will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, including many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, many friends and former colleagues at Casselholme where she worked for 26 years. She had a special place in her heart for several longtime friends she considered to be her sisters.

She was an exceptionally caring and selfless person, considered to be an angel by many. Jackie had a zest for life and brought joy to those around her. She has left us many happy memories to help soothe the pain of her loss.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public service.

If desired, donations to a charity of choice in her memory would be gratefully acknowledged by her family.

C’est avec grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès inattendu mais paisible de notre bien chère Jackie le 12 avril au Centre Régional de Santé de North Bay.

Elle laisse dans le deuil son mari, Roger, ainsi que ses frères Jacques (Ginette) et Jean (Beverly). Elle fut pré-décédée par ses parents, Yvette et Omer Goulet et ses frères, Rémi et André. Jackie vivra dans la mémoire de plusieurs belles-sœurs, beaux-frères, neveux, nièces, amis et anciens collègues de Casselholme où elle a travaillé pendant 26 ans.

Elle était animée par un très grand cœur et une grande joie de vivre. Elle aimait rendre service et répandre la joie autour d’elle. Jackie nous a laissé plein de beaux souvenirs pour nous aider à soulager notre grande peine.

Selon sa volonté, elle a été incinérée et il n’y aura pas de service publique.
