It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeannette Edna Goulais on April 4, 2025, at the age of 84, She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the West Nipissing General Hospital.

Born on May 13, 1940, to the late Leda and Fred McLeod Sr., Jeannette was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, mentor, and friend. She was also known throughout the community as a talented hairdresser, a gifted musician, dedicated community volunteer, and a steadfast woman of faith.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paul Goulais, and cherished daughter Kimberly Ann Goulais, Jeannette's legacy lives on through her adoring grandchildren: Lee Goulais, Bryan Bailliache, and Faith Bailliache. She will always be remembered by her loving daughter Paula, her husband Mike Bailliache, and son Chuck for their dedicated care and support. She will also be lovingly remembered by her many siblings, extended family, and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Jeannette's gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and enduring faith touched all who knew her. Her memory will remain a blessing to those who had the honour of sharing in her life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sturgeon Falls Pentecostal Church, 620 Dutrisac Road. A reception will follow at the Garden Village Community Complex. All who knew and loved Jeannette are welcome to attend and share in the celebration of her life and legacy.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported them during this difficult time.
