John Joseph Evans

Evans, John (1949-2019) It is with heavy hearts that the family announces John’s passing on Saturday November 23rd , 2019 at his residence with his loving wife Gisele by his side.

John is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gisele (nee Violette). He was the dear brother of Judy Nesbitt (John deceased) . Also survived by his brothers-in-law Gilles “Kim” Violette (Claire) and Leo “Koco” Violette (Karen deceased), Robert Purple Violette (deceased) and sister-in-law Louise Rondeau (Guy).

John was a big sports enthusiast, he enjoyed spending time watching the sports channel cheering for his favourite team. 

His journey in life with his beloved Gisele was very accomplished. They travelled extensively and made many friends along the way. Their many joyful life experiences will remain in Gisele’s heart forever. Safe travels John, until we meet again.

In keeping with John’s wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration of his life will take place at St Andrew’s United Church in Sturgeon Falls on Saturday December 7th , 2019 at 11 am, officiated by John’s friend  Kathie Smith.
