John Goulais Obituary

Goulais, John David Michael - (Sunrise April 7th, 1950- Sunset March 7, 2024)

Predeceased by his parents Bella (Commanda) and Richard Goulais, his wife Bernadette (Bondy) Goulais, brothers Eddie & Leonard and sister Theresa. Survived by his son Trevor and grandchildren Silas and Olivia; sister Charlene Bellefeuille (Roger), brother Robert and best friend and honorary brother Philip Goulais. Loved by his aunt Bernadette & uncle Charles Restoule and many, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends Priscilla and Dennis West.

Affectionately known as BigJohn by his good friends and community, John was a dedicated volunteer for Nipissing First Nation. John worked at logging camps in his younger years and then a mechanic at Meek’s Texaco and later retired as a truck driver for Rainbow delivering products to customers.

John will be greatly missed by all.

Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd on Sunday March 10th, 2024 from 11am until 9pm and Monday March 11th, 2024 from 10am until time of service at 11am.
