Jordan Matthew Hewitt (Feb. 20, 1981 – June 28, 2020)

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces Jordan’s passing on June 28th, 2020 in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 39. Beloved son of the late Michael Hewitt (deceased July 2014) and Linda Hewitt. He will be sadly missed by his siblings James Hewitt (Amanda), Alisa Hewitt, Karen Hewitt (Roch), Jeffrey Hewitt, and Jessica Stary (Eduardo). He was the proud uncle to Benjamin Delaquis, Seth Minassian, Cheyenne Foster, and Lakai Stary. Jordan was the nephew of Ruth Wickett (Jeff), Wendy Tremblay (Marc), Kathy Bucci (Jim) and David Hewitt (Barb).

Jordan loved walking in parks, cemeteries and in nature looking for peace & serenity there. He had a flare for the arts. Jordan loved all kinds of music, was a good artist and enjoyed photography. He especially enjoyed historical re-enactment.

Despite his personal struggles, Jordan had a good sense of humour. He had many friends and family who will miss him deeply.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 25th at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport road, at 1:30pm. Casual attire is welcome. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Jordan’s memory to the North Bay Regional Health Centre (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit) or to the Bill McMurray Residence, Toronto.

In accordance with current directives from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario in regard to COVID 19 the total number of attendees is limited, and additional precautions are in place.
