Julia (Ditta) Connacher

Connacher, Julia (nee Ditta) - Peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus at Waters Edge Care Community on July 16, 2019 at the age of 97.

Julia, beloved wife of the late James (2011), devoted mother of Tom (Denise) and Susan Alksnis (Charles). Loving grandmother of Christopher and Michael Connacher, and Sarah Savarie (Ray), and great-grandmother of Alexandria Connacher-Gauthier.

Julia was active in her church community at Calvary Pentecostal Temple, opening her home for many years to “The Girls” for knitting, crocheting & Christian fellowship. Many thanks to “The Girls” for their support & encouragement. You were a very special part of Julia’s life. Special thanks to the staff at Water’s Edge for all their loving kindness and compassionate care.

Friends and family may visit at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Road on Friday July 19^th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service to be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday July 20^th  at 4:00 p.m. Interment with her husband James will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Monday July 22^nd at 11 am.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Bible Society or Waters Edge would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
