Marleau, June Mary (Cangiano)

June passed away peacefully with family by her side on May 30, 2024 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, two days short of her 92nd birthday. She leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years Wilfred, son Dave, grandchildren Emily and Emmett as well as her great grandchild Jess.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Margaret (Notte) Cangiano, brothers, Rev. Joseph Cangiano, and Murray Cangiano (Sybil).

June enjoyed many years of playing bridge with her close friends Shirley, Joan and Martha.

We would like to thank Lori for her loving care of June and the many PSW’s from Par-Med who cared for June while she was at home. A special thank you to Tammy for keeping the schedule straight, Christal and Deann for their over the top care and Dr. Kistemaker and Dr. Moore for their compassion.

Family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd, on Tuesday, June 4th from 2 pm until 4 pm and 7 pm until 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Wednesday, June 5 at 10 AM. Following the mass, June’s family will be receiving friends for a time of fellowship at Hillside Funeral Services.
