“Where there is deep grief, there was great love.”
It is with the deepest sorrow we announce the recent passing of Justin Lamothe of North Bay, Ontario at just 40 years young. Although he’s gone much too soon, his story does not end, but continues to flow in pages and pages of cherished memories.
He will be dearly missed and forever cherished by his loving parents, Ron and Joanne Lamothe, his sister Chantal and brother-in-law Louis Chatelaine, his niece Ayvah and nephew Evan, his dearest friends Seb, Josee and Esme and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him greatly.
Corporal Lamothe was a military veteran of the armed forces military police. After many years of service, he made the decision to settle down and live a life dedicated to family, friends and finding his own sense of peace. He loved nature. Camping, canoeing, fishing, hunting, etc. If trees and calm waters were present, he was too. He will forever be remembered as kind, selfless, funny and generous, among many of his finest qualities. To know and love him was the greatest privilege.
As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the North Bay Regional Health Centre, Mental Health Unit in Justin’s name would be greatly appreciated.
