Lebel, Karen “Kelly” (nee O’Brien) September 17, 1959 – December 14, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Kelly on December 14th, 2022, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at 63 years of age, while surrounded by her loving family. She was survived by her husband Gilles Lebel, and children Ryan (Crystal), Travis (April), Jordan (Brad), and Hailey. Beloved daughter of Patricia (nee Masson) and late Gerald (Gerry) O’Brien. Predeceased by her sister Colleen O’Brien, as well as her mother and father in-law Françoise and Réne Lebel, who she cherished greatly.
Kelly was the caring Grandmother of Rilley, Evan, Anthony, Joel, and Mason. She will be sadly missed by her siblings Cheryl Zufelt (Billy), Kevin O’Brien (Kim), Maureen Schofield (Scott), Mike O’Brien (Paula), Tim O’Brien (Eva), Mary Salmon (Kirby), and Jennifer Van Dusen (Wayne) as well as her many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her in-laws Fern Lebel (Linda), Gerald Lebel (Caroline), and Paul Lebel (Kim).
Kelly’s best memories were made at the trailer surrounded by family and friends, sitting around the campfire. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Family will be receiving visitations on Friday December 16th from 6pm until 9pm at the Hillside Funeral Services. A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Saturday December 17th at 1pm.
A big thank you to the caring CCU staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, for their attentive care during her stay. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
