Katherine Kovach Obituary

Kovach, Katherine Gail Marie (nee Hogan) - passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday March 4^th, 2020 in her 83^rd year with family by her side.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years Joseph “Joe” Kovach. Loving mother to David (Barb) and Brian. Also survived by siblings Marion Miller (Karl), Allan Duffy (Jo-Anne) and Evelyn Fillier (Howard).

Predeceased by her parents Margaret Sartoretto and Charlie Hogan and sister Ann Baum (Jack – also deceased).

Katherine was born in Rouyn, Quebec on February 11, 1938 and moved to North Bay in 1977. She was a beautiful, kind-hearted person who loved and cherished her family. She will be greatly missed and always remembered.

The family would like to thank the NBRHC staff in the emergency room and palliative care unit who made her stay there comfortable during her last days.

As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association in memory of Katherine would be appreciated by her family.
