Folsom, Kathleen (nee DeMerchant)  

Kathleen passed away at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Friday September 27, 2024, with her loving family by her side, at the age of 82 yrs.

She was predeceased by her husband Claire Folsom, parents Alonzo and Bertha DeMerchant, sons Brian, Steven, her grandsons Jesse, Joshua, five brothers and one sister. Kathleen was the loving mother to Sharon (Wayne Phillips), Brenda Folsom, Eva (Terry Ranger) and Carl (Sherry-deceased). Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, her siblings Rosetta Quinn, Austin DeMerchant, Clifford DeMerchant (Sylvia) and Myrtle Moore (Doug).

Family receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd., on Monday September 30th from 11 am until 1 pm, followed by a funeral service. A private interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery will be held at a later date.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff of Nipissing Serenity Hospice for the compassion and exceptional care given to our mother while in their care.

Donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice in memory of Kathleen will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
