It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ken on September 4th, at home, after a difficult battle with leukemia.

Ken was born on May 10, 1951 in Kirkland Lake, ON.

He is predeceased by his father Bernard (Barney), his mother Frances Mae Niebudek, and his loyal dog of 13 years, Princey.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Raymonde, brother Lee, sister-in-law Annemieke, dearest nephew Jasper and great niece Ellis. He is also survived by stepmom Marlene, stepsisters Anne and Nancy, cousins Wayne, Gail, Bev, Wendy and Lynn and esteemed childhood friends Brian, Barry and Bill.

Ken retired from Fabrene Inc. in 2005 as a machine operator for many years. His everyday passions included cars, reading science fiction, global current events, jazz, classical music, rock-n-roll music, bike riding, and hiking. He was a member of the Saint John Ambulance Therapy Dog program with Princey for 10 years. Ken had a passion for COOKING and delighted in hosting friends and family with a gourmet meal.

A heartfelt thank you to Ken's palliative home care nurse Annemieke and Dr. Jinnah.
