Kenneth Pigeau Obituary

Kenneth Pigeau (December 16, 1952 – September 7, 2025)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Pigeau, aged 72, on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Ken was the beloved son of the late Des Pigeau and Pamela Pigeau. He was a loving husband of 53 years to his wife, Dorothy Pigeau, a proud father to his two sons, Wesley (Denise) Pigeau and Bradley (Marcy) Pigeau, and a dear brother to Buck (Bertha) Pigeau and Monique Brazeau (Joe).Ken also took immense pride in being a Grandad to his grandchildren Kayla, Devon (Katelyn), Stephanie, Brittney, and Allysha (Alex), and a Great-Grandad to his three great-grandchildren Dante, Caysen, and Aria.

Ken was a man of quiet wisdom, gentle humour, and unwavering love. Whether it was a kind word, a good laugh, a helping hand, a cold Black Label beer, or simply his calming presence, he had a way of making those around him feel valued, loved, and cared for. Whether he was out on the boat, tinkering in the yard or in the garage, or just relaxing with family, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures and he shared that joy freely with those around him. Family meant everything to him. He led by example showing what it meant to love unconditionally, to work hard, and to live with kindness and grace. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the memories we hold dear, and the love he gave so freely. Beyond his family, Ken’s life was enriched by the strong bonds he shared with his boating community at the North Bay Waterfront Marina, where he spent countless days on the water laughing, relaxing, and making memories.

He also cherished many lifelong friendships made during his 44 years working on the pipeline; a career he took pride in and often reflected on with gratitude. Ken lived his life with humility, integrity, and generosity. He didn’t speak loudly, but his actions spoke volumes. He taught us to show up for the people we love, to keep our word, and to always find time for a laugh, even on the hardest days. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Health Sciences North- Sudbury for their exceptional care, kindness, and support during Ken’s final days. Ken’s love will continue to guide us, and his memory will forever be a blessing. His legacy is one of loyalty, laughter, love, and connection. His passing leaves a space in our lives that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to know and love him.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
