Kevin Van Lith Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we share that our son, Kevin Van Lith, born on February 6, 1983 has passed away on July 16, 2020 at the age of 37. He will be missed, not only by us (Albert and Candace Van Lith), but by his sister Heidi (Byron) Specht, his brother John as well as his Grandmother (Arlene Gauthier) and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He joins his Grandfather (Louis Gauthier), his Uncle John and his Nana & Poppa (Florence and Arthur Van Lith) in heaven.

His mental illness made his life difficult, but we are grateful that he had a wonderful boss - Fang Chen Sheng at the China Clipper Restaurant - who saw him through years of ups and downs. We also thank his online friends, from around the world, for sharing their insights on his kindness, helpfulness and skill in scripting which he shared to help others obtain their dreams or to provide them with an enjoyable place to interact on his sphere server “Marchadium”. To them, he was known as “blizz” and “skul”.

We were lucky to have a final year with him that allowed us to experience his kind, caring and fun spirit - reminiscent of his youth. Thank you to the ACTT program and to those in North Bay who provided him an environment where he felt comfortable. With this in mind, we ask that if you should want to make a donation, please make it to The Gathering Place North Bay online at https://www.thegatheringplacenorthbay.ca/ or by mail/in person at 1181 Cassells St, North Bay, ON P1B 4B4.

Kevin, may you have the peace you so deserve, love Mom and Dad.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
