Laura (Quirt) Turgeon

Turgeon, Laura - It is with heartbreaking sadness that the Turgeon family announces the passing of Laura on Saturday September 9th, 2023 surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.

Beloved wife of Daniel Turgeon. Loving mother of Dana (Denis), Derek (Clorysa) and Steven (Amanda). Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Brittney, Courttney, Lena Mae and Oliver. Laura was the daughter of Mervin and Delia Quirt (nee Myre) both predeceased. She was also the sister of Gale Quirt and Glen Quirt (both predeceased) and she is survived by her sisters in law Kim Quirt and Diane Turgeon and brother and sister in law Marcel and Brenda Turgeon.

Laura touched the hearts of many other people in her life including extended family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all and forever in our hearts, until we meet again one day.

The family would like to extend special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff especially Dr. Kathryn Shaw for the wonderful care given to Laura and for all the guidance along the way.

As per Laura’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
