Leonard Fournier

Fournier, Leonard (December 30, 1933 - August 31, 2023)

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his peaceful passing at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Thursday, August 31st, 2023 with his loving family by his side.

Leonard was predeceased by his wife Pauline. He was the proud father to Michael, Kimberly, Jefferey and Cheryl.

Grandpa to Garette, Alexandra, James, Alisha, Brennan and Matthew. Leonard will also be sorely missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Leonard was a 50+ year member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 23 where he held many executive positions.

He was an active volunteer in the community including 25 years at the Heritage Railway and carousel among numerous other organizations.

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration of his life will be held on September 30th, 2023.
