Linda (Frivalt) Zimmer

Zimmer, Linda (nee Frivalt) 1953-2021

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at the age of 68. She was pre-deceased by her parents Burt Frivalt and Helen Frivalt (nee Hubert).

Linda was the beloved wife of 37 years to Bill. Loving step-mother to Sarah of Langford, British Columbia. 

Pre-deceased by her sister Laurie, Linda is survived by her brother Bill Frivalt (Becky), brother-in-law Ted Jozwiak (Laurie) and nephew Jimmy. All residing in the Arnprior area. 

She was a cherished Auntie Linda to Jennifer and Richard (Woodings), Michael, Barry, and Tara (O’Reilly), Trevor, Tracy, Todd, and Allison (Dixon), Debbie and Dugan (McBurnie). Much loved sister-in-law to Joan, Cathy, and Teddie. 

Linda and Bill met in 1981 while both were in Sudbury. They established themselves in the Callander area in 1983 and built their home together over many years.  In 2017, they did a kitchen renovation to showcase her sensational cooking and baking skills. She was effortlessly kind and caring to all who crossed her path, including extended family and numerous friends, her closest being Nora Best. A friendship that endured for 38 years. She will be dearly missed by all.
