Louise Lucille (Duhaime) Alcock

Alcock, Louise (nee Duhaime) – It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Louise ( Momma) on Monday January 7th 2019 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 64 years. 

Beloved wife of Trevor for 44 years.  Loving mother of Travis (Annyse) and Chancey (James Robert).  She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Caleb, Gabriel, Nadyne, Caleb, Sawyer, Hudson, Colby and Deakon.  Predeceased by her father Georges (February 6th 2014).  Survived by her mother Joan (Au Chateau) and her siblings Georgette (Jacques Primeau) Sturgeon Falls, Diane (Richard Legault) Sudbury,  Denis (Pierrette) Duhaime Cache Bay, Yvon (Patricia) Sturgeon Falls, Daniel (Lynn) Sturgeon Falls, Angele (Jean Yves Rainville) Verner, and Jean Pierre (Jackie) North Bay. 

Louise worked for the Government of Ontario for 35 years in various departments her last being Correctional Services where she made lifelong friendships.  After retiring in December of 2013 knitting and sewing became her passion.  She also loved all of our road trip adventures and stopping in at the casino for a bit of gambling. 

Thank you to all the nurses and doctors at the North Bay Regional Health Centre and especially to all her family and close friends who helped us through this difficult time.

Goodbye my “Momma” you will be forever in our thoughts and dreams, love you until we meet again. Poppa, Travis and Chancey.

As per her wishes a celebration of Life and burial will take place summer of 2019 at The Point in July. 

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations of a charity of your choice.
