Luba (Mroz) Baranow

Luba Elizabet Baranow (1935-2024)

Passed away peacefully at the age of 91 at Grace Villa in Hamilton. With heavy hearts, her family bids farewell to a beloved matriarch, who is now reunited with her late husband, parents, and siblings. Luba is lovingly remembered by her sister Sophie, brother Kazimierz, and her children: Peter (Barb), Nada, Vera (Kevin), Kathy (Keven), David (Shari), and John. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory.

Born in Klintsy, Russia, Luba immigrated to Canada after World War II and built a life in southern Ontario, where she lovingly raised her family. Known for her spirited personality and unique charm, she touched the lives of all who knew her.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Grace Villa Nursing Home for the compassionate care provided in Luba's final year.
