Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marisa Amendola announces her passing at the North Bay Regional Health Center on November 23rd 2021 at the age of 71.  Marisa passed peacefully surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren, after a lengthy battle with breast cancer in which she showed incredible strength, grace and courage.

Marisa is survived by her husband of 47 years Fernando Amendola, her beloved children, Diane Dech (Jeff), Rico Amendola (Julie), and Assunta Bitonti (Gabriele); and her cherished grandchildren Alexandra, Michael, Isabella and Alessandre. She is predeceased by her parents Alfredo and Stella Ricciuti.  She is the dear sister of Carmine (Anna-Marie) and Hector (Suzanne) Ricciuti and sister in law, Rita (late Vittorio) Manera, Nanda Amendola and the late Mary Amendola.  She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.

Born on January 19, 1950 in Apriligiano Italy, Marisa immigrated to Canada in 1966 and settled in North Bay Ontario.
