It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael at his residence on Sunday August 10th, 2025 at the age of 72.

Loving brother of Sandra Evans (Bill), Pamela Lafontaine (Markus Fisher), Lisa Chalifoux (deceased) and Laurie Lafontaine (deceased). He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Tanya Bourdon (Jay), Jennifer Desgroseilliers, Kelsey Fisher (Mark Noel), Patrick Fisher, Gordon Evans -deceased (Leigh-surviving) and his great nieces and nephews Austin Bourdon, Kayla and Colton Desgroseilliers, Charlotte Desforge and Liam Noel. Predeceased by his parents Virginia (nee Falconi) and Norman Lafontaine.

As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation -Cancer Care Unit will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
