Michel St. Amour

St. Amour, Michel – After a long, courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on January 12, 2022 at the age of 66.

Born in North Bay on September 4, 1955. Loving husband of Glenda St. Amour (nee Restoule). Michel and Glenda were married on June 26, 1982 in Sturgeon Falls 39 years ago. He was the son of the late Fernand St. Amour and Gilberte Gervais. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters Marc St. Amour (Louise), Denise St. Amour (Fern), Lise Bartja, Donald St. Amour, Gerard St. Amour (Catherine), Gisele McIntyre (Kevin), Carole St. Amour (Mark), Nicole St. Amour (Fernando), John St. Amour (Tracey) and brother-in-law of Harold (Earl) Restoule, Geraldine Restoule, Terry Restoule (Jacqueline), Fern Restoule, many nieces and nephews.  Loving Godfather to Lisa Stevens, Christian St. Amour, Natasha Restoule, Michael Gervais, Bryanne St. Amour, Olivia Manitowabi, Sonja Sutton.

Many thanks to the kind and loving care of Dr. Wendy Graham, Dr. Kulwant Singh Gill and the many nurses and health care workers who were always considerate of his needs and gave him the best care.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Road, North Bay.  Service to be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the funeral home at 10 am with burial to follow in Dokis First Nation. As per current COVID 19 restrictions pre-registration to attend the visitation and/or service is MANDATORY. The total number of attendees is limited, social distancing requirements must be respected, and masks or face coverings are required inside the funeral home.
