Desgroseilliers, Michelle (1973-2023)

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her unexpected passing on August 24, 2023.

She was the daughter to Raymond and Huguette Desgroseilliers. Michelle was the loving wife to Ronald Hopcraft. Proud mother to Calyn, Alyssa and Sofie. She will also be missed by her sisters Lise McDonald (Frank), Manon Desgroseilliers (Denise) & Maryse Tignanelli (Francesco) and by her niece Chloé McDonald.

Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday August 29th 2023 at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport road, North Bay, between 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A private funeral will be held at a later date. 

Michelle est née le 11 mars 1973 et décédée le 24 août 2023. Elle nous a laissé pour un lieu que nous espérons tous atteindre. Durant ses 50 années, elle fut une âme-soeur qui a su nous émerveiller, nous égayer et nous faire sourire tout en admirant sa beauté et son amour d'autrui. Ce fut aussi l’épouse et la mère qui aimait sans attendre rien en retour. Va, Michelle,  voir et vivre ton éternité dans l'espoir de te rejoindre un jour.

Michelle's vibrant spirit shone through her many passions. A beloved speech language pathologist by profession for the Near North District School Board, she used her skills to make a positive impact on the lives of many. Beyond her professional pursuits, Michelle's creativity knew no bounds. With an innate talent for photography, she captured the beauty and many precious moments at the family cottage at Lake Kipawa Quebec. She constantly found joy in creating and sharing with others. Michelle's memory will forever be cherished for her unwavering love for family, generosity, her devotion to her craft, and her ability to find beauty in every moment.
