It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mira Lynn Pacaud (nee Osborne). She slipped away peacefully on September 20, 2020, after a lengthy battle with dementia.
Mira was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Pacaud. She was a wonderful mother to Lisa Darling (Jason) and Rhea Pacaud (Yngve) and grandmother to Cole, Jude, Thorin, and Magnus. Mira was the daughter of Lloyd Osborne and Maria Langewouters (both predeceased). She was a sister to Carol (predeceased), Brenda (Murray), Hilda, Della, Jeff, and Larry. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Mira spent her entire career as a nurse in North Bay and after retirement, she continued to volunteer her time at the hospital. In her spare time, she loved playing and refereeing volleyball and was an avid traveller. She enjoyed snowmobiling in the winter and riding her Spyder in the summer. Mira was a generous person with a huge heart. She will be dearly missed.
Lisa and Rhea would like to extend a special thank you to Hilda for all of her love and support over the years, and to Cara, Mira's earth angel, for taking such wonderful care of her during her most challenging years. To Dr Leckie and all the outstanding staff on B1, THANK YOU!!
Due to the pandemic, there will be a intimate family celebration of life at a later date.
If you wish to make a donation, please consider giving to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice.
