Moira (Marsh) Maass

Maass, Moira Ann Hope - Passed away unexpectedly at her residence in North Bay on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024.

Predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, William (Bill) John Maass. Loving mother of William John Jr., Randy Douglas (Kathleen) and Tammy Lynn. Beloved grandmother of Amanda, Jennifer and Holly. She will be sadly missed by her siblings Bill Marsh, Kathy O’Connor, Ron Marsh and several nieces and nephews.

Born in Cochrane in April 1939, she was daughter to the late Ronald and Edith Marsh. Moira was married to the love of her life, Bill, in 1957 and they were rarely ever apart until the day he passed in 2017.

She lived a full life as a loving wife, wonderful mother, homemaker and crafter after a brief time working at Bell.

Family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd., North Bay on Wednesday October 16th, 2024 from 2 until 4 pm. A funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, 111 McIntyre St. East, North Bay, on Thursday October 17 at 10 am. Burial will follow at North Bay Union Cemetery.
