Penny Ranger

Ranger, Penny Joy- May 29, 1952- November 18, 2019

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved sister, aunt and great-aunt Penny Joy Ranger in her 67^th year.

Predeceased by her parents Harry & Gertrude Ranger and brother-in-law Ken Boufford.

She leaves behind her siblings Cheryl Boufford (Gary), Linda Boufford (Al), David Ranger, Randy Ranger, Wendy Ranger, Terry Lyn Kirke (Bill), Cameron Ranger, and many nieces and nephews. Penny worked for the city of North Bay in the Parks and Rec department, retiring in 2014. Our much loved “Aunt Penny” had a stream of visitors, family, friends and acquaintances all sharing thoughts and stories of how much they appreciated and loved this kind and generous person. She loved animals and used her connection with them to brighten the owner’s lives during her walks around town. Penny’s easy going and friendly nature made the environment comfortable and encouraging to many.

Special thanks to Kristi Kirke for her constant and loving care, making Penny’s home stay calm, pain and stress free, which was greatly appreciated for all who visited.

Thanks to Monique and Kimba for comforting her during her short stay in hospital and to Dr. Jinnah and staff for their compassion.

A beautiful person, sister and friend, always loved and forever remembered.
