Peter Paul Saini

Saini, Peter Paul (1939-2020) – It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that the family announces the peaceful passing of our dear brother and uncle at Cassellholme on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the age of 80 years.

Peter is survived by his brothers Tony (Claire – deceased), Jimmy (Sue) and Richard (Cathy) as well as his sister Mary. He was the cherished and beloved uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews especially Christine, Michael and Marc. Peter was predeceased by his parents Michael and Amelia Saini, his sisters Josephine and Lucy and his niece Tracy Saini.

Peter was employed for 35 years at the ONR as a boilermaker before health problems led to his retirement. He was a 4^th Degree Knights of Columbus member. He will be remembered for his kindness, unconditional love and support, his infectious smile, and his attention to others.

The family will be receiving relatives & friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Sunday August 9^th from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday August 10^th at St Peter the Apostle Church at 10:30 am.  Interment to follow at St, Mary’s Cemetery. Donations in memory of Peter to the St Peter’s Building Fund or the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.

In accordance with current directives from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario in regard to COVID 19 the total number of attendees is limited and additional precautions are in place. Face masks are mandatory at the funeral home. For more information please contact the funeral home.
