Phyllis Esch

Esch, Phyllis (Nee Saunders) - Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre with her family by her side on Tuesday June 6th, 2023 at the age of 92.

Predeceased by her husband George Esch. Beloved mother of Sharon (Murray), Brian (Judy), Murray (Dianne) and Rick. Loving grandmother to her grandchildren; Derek, Melissa, Lisa, Darryll, Christine, Brent, Jenn and Grayson, great grandmother of 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also predeceased by her siblings Jack, Donald, Bob, Hazel, Dallas and Murray.

Mom was surrounded by lots of love and laughter in her final hours, doing her favorite thing, listening to and reminiscing stories of our lives together. She will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. A final hug and kiss goodbye, we will miss you forever.  Rest in peace

The family would like to extend gratitude to Dr. Vigars and his staff, Care Partners, Para Med and the staff of Cassellholme for their support and care given to their mom. Also, special thanks to Raymond Gauthier of the North Bay Regional Health Centre Palliative Care Unit for his care and compassion given to mom during her final hours. 

Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd on Sunday June 11, 2023 from 11am until time of service at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre- Palliative Care Unit will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
