Phyllis Nemec

Nemec, Phyllis (1941-2019) - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing on Wednesday October 16th 2019 at the age of 78 years.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Stan. Dear mother to Peter (Melissa) of Toronto and John (Sara) of North Bay. Loving grandmother to Beatrix, Benjamin and Henry. Sadly missed by her brother Patrick Waldriff (Theresa, deceased) of Miramichi, New Brunswick and sisters Linda Mustonen (Pentti, deceased) of Copper Cliff and Cathy Minor (Ralph) of North Bay.

Phyllis was an avid traveller, she enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She was a passionate Registered Nurse, having cared for patients in Australia, California and across Ontario.

Family will be receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES on Saturday October 19th between 9 and 11am with service to follow.
