Raymond Wilmot (Ray) died peacefully at Nipissing Serenity Hospice, North Bay on Sunday, June 1, 2025. He was 85 years old.
Ray was the beloved husband of Jeanette and caring brother to Clare. He was the much-loved father to Nicole (Todd) and Brent - (Melanie). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandson Cameron.
Ray loved to ski in the winter and was happy to share his adventures on the hills and mountains with many friends. In the summer, he spent most of his time golfing and sailing. During many wonderful years, great friendships were created on the links and at the North Bay Yacht Club. Always quick to lend a hand to others, Ray made lifetime friends out of neighbours, strangers and those whose paths crossed his.
Honouring Ray's wishes, there will be no memorial service or celebration of life. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers or a celebration of life, should you wish to make a donation in Ray’s memory, Nipissing Serenity Hospice – where he and his family received excellent care and support - is highly recommended.
