On Wednesday Sept 13, 2023 Robert James Corbeil passed away peacefully at his Mother’s side at the North Bay Regional Health Center at the age of 40.
Anyone who knew Robert knew his greatest joy in life was his two sons Aiden Avery Raymond Corbeil and Jasper Parker Robert Corbeil. He was also happy to have Gabriel Everly Auger to father as well.
Robert is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Dan and Jeannine Corbeil, his godfather and Uncle Mike Corbeil and Uncles John (Linda) and Burton Matheson.
Robert was loved by his maternal grandparents Gay Matheson and Ed and Dyan Matheson. He is also survived by his parents Robert (Bob/Rob) and Delilah (Dee) Corbeil, brothers Matthew Corbeil and Justin (Sheena and nephew Nathan) Corbeil, Aunts Suzanne (Mike Robinson) Corbeil, Sandra (Kevin Leahy) Corbeil, Kathy(Roland) Isaac, Brenda Meehan and Uncle Clinton(Karen) Matheson and many cousins.
Robert will be remembered as a happy person with a joy for life. He loved fishing and could spend all day fishing even if he caught nothing.
Family will be receiving family and friends at Hillside Funeral Services, Friday October 6, 2023 at 1 pm. Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm with refreshments following.
Special thanks to Nurses on 3C who treated Robert as family over the last 3-4 years and to the Renal doctors and Nurses for their continued care of him.
Robert’s wish is that we treasure each day with family and friends.
