Rollande (Labrosse) Robertson

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Rollande Robertson on May 7th, 2022, at the North Bay Regional Health Center with her family by her side.

Rollande will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband Richard of 57 years, her sister Madeline, her brother Marcel (Denise), her son Tom (Debbie), her daughter Michelle, her grandchildren Jessica (Brendon), Ryan (Sarah), Christopher, Jordan (Sheigh), and her great grandchildren Avery, Benjamin, Lily and Gracie.

Rolly was the light in any room, she had the biggest heart and was always wanting to help with anything that needed to be done. She was the one you would go to for advice or if you were having a bad day. She was also the one who would tell you exactly her thoughts on things and let you know full well if she thought it was the wrong thing even if you didn't want to hear it.

Rolly spent her entire life taking care of people and it all started when she became a nurse in 1964 where she spent 30+ years doing so. After retirement she then turned her focus on her home life and helping her daughter raise her first grandchild Jessica and then her grandson Christopher.

Rolly loved to Garden, and she always made sure to have the best looking one around, even winning an award in our town. She loved music and she loved to dance. She would always turn the cd player on and dance in the kitchen with us every chance she had and kept the tradition going with her great grand babies.

We are asking anyone who would like to join us on Thursday May 12^th, 2022, at Hillside Funeral Services from 12:00-2:00pm for visitation and 2:00pm for a service in her memory. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, in Rolly’s memory, would be gratefully appreciated.
