Russel Thomas Birmingham

Birmingham, Russel Thomas (Tom) (August 5, 1943- May 13, 2023 ) Our family rock has passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre with family holding his hand, at the age of 79 on Saturday May 13th, 2023 after a short battle with Cancer.

Beloved life partner of 45 years to Grace Stewart. Loving father of Gary Stewart (Claudette), Koren Harris (Regan), Charlene Pasichnyk (Bob), Belinda Holliday (John) and Bonnie Miller. He will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews, John Birmingham (Nadine), Carrie Gardiner (Pat), Allan Birmingham (Sally), Duane Birmingham, Terry Birmingham (Lisa), Jay Birmingham (Carole), Debbie Birmingham (Herb McCoy) and by many grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Glorivinea (nee Filiatrault), brothers Alfred and Albert and his children Grant, Larry, John and Lorraine Stewart.

Tom worked as a plumber for 60 years. Many of those years were spent at Priors Plumbing and Heating. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd on Saturday May 20th from 9am until 11am followed by burial at Union Cemetery. The family invite you to a celebration of life at the Stewart family home.

Special thanks to his long time friend, Bruce Miller, Kim Birmingham and Kim Cole for the unlimited support given, to the staff of the Sudbury Cancer Clinic North Tower, 4th floor and to the North Bay Regional Health Centre C3 staff for the care and compassion given to our father during his battle.
