Sgt. Stephane Roy

The family announces with deep sadness the passing of Sgt. STEPHANE ROY, in Ottawa, Sunday August 22nd, 2021 at the age of 52 years. 

Beloved son of Claude and Colette Roy, big brother to Natasha Roy (Stéphane Bellemare). He was a very proud and loving uncle to Mica, Chanel and Océann.

Sgt. Stephane was proud to have served his country as a member of the RCMP, recently accepting a promotion to Sergeant. His absence will be greatly missed by his many colleagues, friends and family.

Visitation will be at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Road in North Bay, Ontario on Thursday September 2nd, 2021 from 1 until 3pm and 6 until 8pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday September 3rd, 2021 at 10 a.m at Saint-Vincent de Paul Church, 1265 Wyld street in North Bay.

 As per current COVID 19 directives the total number of attendees is limited, social distancing requirements must be respected, and masks or face coverings are required inside the funeral home. Donations to Sick Kids Foundation in memory of Stephane will be gratefully acknowledged.

Garçon bien aimé de Claude et Colette Roy, frère de Natasha Roy, (Stéphane Bellemare) et Oncle adoré de Mica, Chanel et Océann.

Son souvenir sera gravé dans notre mémoire. Son absence sera grandement remarqué par ses collègues de la GRC ainsi que ses amis et sa famille.

Sergent Stephane Roy sera exposé à la maison funeraire Hillside, 362 rue Airport, North Bay, ON P1B 8 W9, jeudi le 2 septembre, 2021 de 13h à 15 h et 18h à 20 h. Une messe funéraire aura lieu le vendredi le 3 septembre, 2021 à 10h à la Paroisse Saint-Vincent-de-Paul,  1265 rue Wyld, North Bay, ON P1B 2A9.
