Steven Hawthorne Obituary

Hawthorne, Steven (1976 – 2022) Steven passed away peacefully at his residence in North Bay with his family by his side on Friday June 30, 2022 at the age of 45 years.

Steve suffered from Muscular Dystrophy for most of his life, he faced his challenges with a positive attitude until the very end. He will be sadly missed.

Steven’s family will be forever grateful for the support given to him from Community Living over the years. Special thank you to Richard Cyr and Trevor Knight who were his dedicated caregivers, they went above and beyond their care to Steven. We will never forget them, Steven thanks you from the bottom of his heart. Heartfelt acknowledgement to the dedicated staff of PHARA for the support given to Steven while in their care.

As per his wishes cremation has taken place. A gathering to honour his life will be held at Community Living North Bay, 741 Wallace Rd., on Thursday July 28th from 4 until 6 pm.

His cremated remains will be buried in Upper Kent, New Brunswick where he will be with his mother and father.
