Terry Brandon Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Terrance Brandon, known as Terry, born on November 28, 1954, who peacefully departed this life on March 25, 2024, at the age of 69. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.

Terry was the cherished husband of Carol Secord-Brandon for 20 wonderful years, a devoted father to Christopher Brandon (Parvaneh), and Jamie Brandon (Lizanne Raymond), Michelle Couture (Don Arseneault), Kelly (Dan Simoneau). He will forever be remembered as a loving grandfather to Kyden, Andy, Jamy (Aimee), Kyle, Tyler, Cassandra (Michel), Kaylee, and as a great-grandfather to Avery. Terry’s presence in their lives brought immeasurable joy and countless cherished memories.

Throughout his life, Terry found immense fulfillment in his work. He began his career as a conservation officer, where his passion for nature and wildlife conservation blossomed. Over the years, he dedicated himself to protecting the natural world he loved. Eventually, Terry transitioned into a role as a provincial prosecutor for the Ministry of Natural Resources, where he continued to serve his community with integrity and diligence.

Terry’s love for nature extended beyond his professional life. He found solace and joy in hunting, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors. Together with his beloved partner, Carol, he embarked on countless adventures, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Terry was a beloved brother to Dwain Brandon (Deane), Rod Brandon (Ondine), and Tracey Rosenblath and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Jean and Robert Brandon, but their spirit of love and resilience lives on in him and his family.

Terry’s departure leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him. Yet, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. May his memory be a blessing, and may we find solace in the fond recollection of the joyful moments shared with him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to The ALS Foundation, or the North bay Regional Health Center in Terry’s memory.

Rest in peace, Terry. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will forever guide and inspire us.
