January 17, 1929-June 19, 2024 Tom passed away peacefully in North Bay on June 19, 2024 at the age of 95.  Predeceased by his wife, Constance (Tizzard) in 2015.  Father of Tom (Sharon), Gary (Luanne) and Sandra Roberts (Jim).  Survived by grandchildren Lyndsy Robinson (Dave), Laura Turcotte (Brent), Eric Chowns (Jaclyn), Andrew Roberts (Rachel), Brian Chowns (Laura) and Allison Roberts. Great grandchildren Teagan Turcotte, Ethan Robinson, Adrianna Robinson, Victoria Turcotte, Amber Roberts, Braydon White, Oliver Chowns and Emily Chowns.

Predeceased by his parents, Richard Chowns and Jessie (Todd) as well as siblings, Richard (Maybelle), Violet White (Duncan), Clifford (Cecile), Victor (Helen), Ruby Walbridge (Henry), Stella, Hazel Kendal, Pearl Woolley (William), Doris Shantz (Albert), Edith, Raymond and George (Marjorie).

He was born in Humber Bay, Toronto, and was a 47 year employee of the Ontario Food Terminal.  Tom and Connie travelled the world and had a cottage on Restoule Lake. 

Visitation only, will be at the Hillside Funeral Home 362 Airport Road, North Bay, on Saturday June 22 between 2 and 4.
