Thérèse (Terry) (Dulude) Faubert

FAUBERT, THÉRÈSE (TERRY) (née Dulude) –

Passed peacefully on April 9, 2023 in Kanata at 94 years of age. 

Terry lived a full life and was looking forward to joining her late husband Réjean (Pete) Faubert who predeceased her October 21, 2021 in North Bay  at the age of 94.  Terry and Pete were married on September 5, 1950 and settled in North Bay in 1954, where Pete purchased his first of three service stations, while Terry taught in French catholic elementary schools.  They purchased their home on Greenwood Avenue in 1958, where they would live for 63 years. 

Terry and Pete were blessed with five children who survive them, Donald (Marielle Piché), Denis (Catherine Faubert), Louise Faubert-Smith (Ronald Smith), Claire Riley (Anthony Riley) and Pierre (Sue Faubert).  They took pride and pleasure in their eleven grandchildren, Joël Faubert, Jacques Faubert, Michael Faubert, Carolyn (Faubert) Stevenhaagen, Nicolas Faubert-Smith, Julie Faubert-Smith, Martin Faubert-Smith, Stacey (Riley) Aitchison, Shauna Riley, Jacob Faubert and Isaac Faubert.  Eleven wonderful great-grandchildren have also joined the Faubert family. 

Although we are saddened by our parents’ passing, we are grateful to them for giving us life, showering us with love and enriching the lives of three generations of Fauberts. 

The family will hold a private memorial service for Terry at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
