Yelle, Urgel Joseph (Jack) 1937-2022

Urgel “Jack” Yelle was born in Badgerow Twp (Field), Ontario on February 25, 1937, and passed away Tuesday April 19, 2022, at Extendicare Tri-town Nursing Home in Haileybury Ontario at the age of 85.

Jack is survived by his children, Denis Yelle, Paul Yelle and Joanne Chornley; and grandchildren Teniel, Tera and Sonny.

Jack was predeceased by his parents, Polydore (Paul) Yelle and Laurette Carriere; and his sister Florence Yelle.

Following brain surgery in the late 1980’s, Jack required full-time care which was lovingly provided by his brother Armand Yelle and sister-in-law Annette (predeceased) until being admitted into long term care. He will also be remembered by his nephews Norman and Raymond Yelle.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of Extendicare Tri-town Nursing Home for looking after Jack since 1997.

Cremation has taken place. His remains will be placed in the cemetery in Field Ontario alongside his father and nephew, Alec Yelle.
