Wayne Hollands

Hollands, Wayne (October 21, 1938 - January 10, 2025)

We are saddened to announce the passing of Wayne at Water’s Edge on January 10, 2025 with his loving family by his side at the age of 86. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years Rita (Boissoneault).  Proud father of Mark and Mike (Angela).  Cherished grandpa of Travis, Josheph and Scott.  Predeceased by his two siblings Lee Hamlin, and Sandra Shaw. 

Wayne was an avid outdoorsman, with a great love of fishing, hunting and even developed a passion for creating beautiful landscape paintings.  He was also quite proud of his green thumb and lavish vegetable garden.  Wayne will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.  

Family receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd, on Saturday January 18, 2025 from 1 until 3 pm. A celebration of his life will follow at 3 pm at the funeral home.

A heartfelt thank you to the attentive staff at Water’s Edge for their dedication to care.  In Lieu of flowers donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
